Hello, my name is Imelda Perrill, and I am the owner of Two J’s Salsa. With the help of my husband and two sons we’ve put together this small little business we call Two J’s Salsa. The two J’s, for our sons Joaquin and Julian. We work local markets throughout the San Antonio area to share our 5 flavors of Two J’s Salsa with the community.
Currently we have Two J’s Salsa in Mild, Hot, Extra Hot, Salsa Verde and Salsa Picosa. I believe what makes our salsa stand out more than others is that we are allergic to onions and none of our salsa products contain onions. This has been a plus for us at markets as we come to find out there are many other people with the same allergies. Many customers who do like onions and find out there are no onions in our salsa’s state they don’t understand how there is so much flavor in our salsa, having no onions.
For over 20 years, I’ve made salsa for my family and friends and take pride in producing this delicious salsa. By their reactions and the reactions of our customers, I see that they enjoy it as much as we enjoy making it. For many years, those same family and friends encouraged us to begin selling it and getting it out there. It took a long time, but we finally started in August of 2021 and thankfully we have had a really good reception.
We are proud to say we have just joined the Go Texan Family and look forward to the experience and opportunities it’ll bring us.
We have sent our product via website orders to over 20 states throughout the United States, with several of those customers being with us from the very beginning. The reactions we get when someone first tries our salsa is priceless and I feel that with our customer support, the great flavors we put together to make these products, it will be successful in this amazing journey we are on.
Last, I thank my mother, Genara Pinon for her inspiration and teaching me how to put flavors together and make one great taste.
